To make your purchase and installation as smooth as possible, here’s what happens once you’ve placed your order online:

1. Order Confirmation

Once your payment is completed, our team at Ipswich Hot Water is instantly notified of your purchase. You’ll receive an email confirmation summarising your order details and payment receipt.

2. Same-Day Contact

A member of our friendly team will call you the same business day (or next business day for weekend orders) to:

  • Confirm your system selection and site details.
  • Discuss any access requirements or special conditions.
  • Schedule your preferred installation date and time.

If any extra work may be required beyond a standard installation, we’ll provide an updated quote for your approval before proceeding.

3. Delivery of Your New Hot Water System

Once your order and details are confirmed, your new hot water system will be:

  • Delivered directly to your site prior to the agreed installation, or
  • Brought by our licensed installer on the day of installation (depending on scheduling and supplier logistics).

If your selected system is temporarily out of stock or our licensed tradespeople are unavailable, a temporary hot water unit will be supplied to ensure you remain with hot water until your new system is installed.

4. Professional Installation

Our licensed plumbers and electricians will arrive at the agreed time and day to complete the installation.

All work is performed to the highest standards, in full compliance with:

  • AS/NZS 3500 Plumbing and Drainage Standards
  • AS/NZS 3000 Wiring Rules
  • Plumbing and Drainage Act 2018 (QLD)

We’ll test and commission your system, check for leaks, and ensure everything is operating safely and efficiently before we leave.

5. Site Clean-Up and System Handover

Once installation is complete, we’ll:

    • Remove and dispose of your old unit (if applicable).
    • Clean the work area.
    • Explain how to operate and maintain your new system.

6. Compliance Certification

All installations by Ipswich Hot Water are fully certified.
Within 10 business days of installation, you’ll receive:

  • Your QBCC Form 4 compliance certificate
  • Any applicable STC rebate documentation (for eligible systems)
  • Your tax invoice and warranty information

All documents will be emailed directly to you for your records.
